About us
Sandra — Both of my parents were wonderful cooks. My mother made a homemade meal everyday growing up, and most of the time that included dessert. When I was little, I remember that my Dad was such a perfectionist, he would only let me stir things but as I got older, he passed on many of his recipes to me, you know, the hand written type, most of them on note cards, faded and spotted with decades of wear… It's from this passion and love for cooking that I have shared with my son Aaron, and now we share with you.

Sandra is married to husband Antonio, and a mother of two sons, Ryan and Aaron. With a background and education in Business, including an MBA, Sandra served in several managerial positions in the telecommunications industry for nearly 25 years before turning to her passion of cooking. Sandra, and Aaron both are actively involved in their church and have, for more than 15 years, catered and provided their culinary skills to those endeavors.

Aaron — My grandparents, on both sides of my family loved to cook; and they did everything… cooked, grilled and baked. There was never a shortage of food around the house, especially leftover desserts. Banana Pudding, Lemon Meringue Pie, Pineapple Upside Down Cake; and let's not forget Granddad's Chocolate Cake, just to name a few. My parents were the same way, at the drop of a hat, my Mom was in the kitchen baking something and we could never get enough.

Aaron is married to wife Camille and is a father of two boys Micah and Austin. He still pursues his goal of becoming a professional opera singer. He has received his Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland in Music Performance and has already performed in such venues as the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. He is frequently sought after for solo engagements when he's not baking cupcakes.

We come from a family of cooks. There are few things that we enjoy more than a home-cooked meal with close family and friends, and we believe there's nothing better to end a meal than the perfect dessert.

In the middle of a restless night several years ago, I found my son, Aaron, muddling around in our kitchen. It was close to midnight and his sweet tooth was calling. In an attempt to satisfy his craving, Aaron had begun baking. Searching through old recipes, it was only a matter of time before we were elbow deep in cupcakes, experimenting with several different flavors of icing.

The next day we shared our midnight confections with family and friends. They couldn't get enough. The word spread, and we began baking for birthdays and parties. After a while we were spending more time making cupcakes than anything else; and so Midnite Confection's Cupcakery was born. We hope you enjoy our unique cupcakes as much as we enjoyed making them. Take a peek inside… we won't tell.
